Before joining STEMteachersNYC, I spent 35 years in senior fundraising and leadership positions, including at the Wildlife Conservation Society (Bronx Zoo) and as CEO of The Maritime Aquarium. Both of these organizations have significant science education programs. At STEMteachersNYC, I am responsible for fundraising, strategic planning, executive coaching, budgeting and help with governance and board recruitment. As Jennifer E. Herring Consulting, I offer strategic planning, executive coaching and fundraising consulting services. Recent clients include New York Botanical Garden, AMTA and Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, among others.
